Really nice, it would be even greater if it was longer. I'd love to hear you expand on the themes you've introduced here. I get the feeling you're barely scratching the surface of this piece's potential.

Awsome feedback xD
I wanted to work on it more, but part of me wants to wait for a singer, they might bring a unique sound with their voice and dpending on that I could re-arrange the song so they can reflect and mesh. At least, that's what I'm hoping, reality is never as kind lol.

Also thanks for the vote of confidence.

You have epic earworms

But if this wasn't BlackHole, I wouldn't even look at a song with this name.

Not bad but...

It feels kind of jerky and really more dissonant than the original. This is a problem for me, because the harmonies in the original were what I liked best about it. The actual writing/playing of the remix is perfect, it's your choice of synths that could maybe use a little work, they're slightly out of tune with each other.

I'm looking through your submissions because I found your topic on the Descent BB while I was looking for an old thread of mine. I've done some D2 music remixes/covers as well (not either of the songs you did), maybe we could compare our work to give you a chance to criticise mine as well -- and maybe to give you an idea for some synths that might work better, without the dissonance.

Really great mix

I'll have to check out more of your stuff than just this and "Revelation".

I finally figured out how to find all of your old submissions, so I could find this one again.
Nicely done song, it definitely sounds like it would go in a boss level. Reminds me of the Obsidian level 6 music in particular (the music for that level was by Doug Hale and it was titled "The Subtegon", if you look in the midi track comments).
But just thinking of having to fight boss robots invading a hospital... if that's what happens :P.

This reminds me of Pumo's work on Pumo Mines actually. Is the full song done?

Kaizerwolf responds:

It might be done soon.

Love it

Very nicely done, I haven't finished listening so I can't comment on the whole thing, but the organ is very nice. I've downloaded and am going to put it into my playlist for Dimensional Intersect (playlist as in a big ogg file with multiple songs in it).

BTW I may be doing music for Flight Back as well, I've got one song submitted already, though it's much more "nature" themed, and would work well in a water or desert mine.

Kaizerwolf responds:

Well thanks! :)

Great song

My brother and I both love this song (in fact, the first thing Xaihyv said when he saw your PM level 2 video was "this music is awesome").
It's like Daft Punk, but more dynamic. I especially like the first bass, and the organ solo at 3:06.

On the whole the level iteslf reminds me of the CED Expediator from D3 (an incredible maze, as well as some very similar room and hallway designs). One room was especially fun because it reminded me of the place in the Expediator where there's a Spyhunter who, when you shoot him, says effectively "I won't shoot you if you don't shoot me, I'm on your side", but then starts shooting you because you had to shoot him to get him to talk. I nicknamed him SpyNutter :P.

5/5 10/10 for both the song and the level.
